    Default Dynamic Block Assistance

I crealted the attached Block which allows for MText. I have been attempting to get both the arrow and the annotation to move indepedently of each other without success. I can get one to move around but the other continues to move the location of the entire block. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I have apparently maxed out my limit of files I can upload. I cannot upload my file. I have looked to remove/delete files from past uploads but see no clear option or direction to do so. Please advise so I can share my dynamic block mentioned above.

It sounds like the object moving the entire block is using the base point of the block (0,0 in block editor). Trying moving the block objects away from the origin, or setting a separate base point parameter.

I'm not sure about your inability to upload files.

    Thanks for a quick responce.

I am hoping a moderator will be able to assist with uploading issue.

Are not the base point and origin the same? How do I move the origin vs moving the block objects?

On the "Block Authoring Palettes" under the "Parameters" tab, there's a parameter called "Basepoint" which you can use to set the base point of the block to somewhere other than the origin.

Darren, I just asked Opie about this, he's looked over the forum software and confirmed that the only limitations are on filetype and filesize, so, you should be able to upload as many files as you want.

I'm assuming DWG was the type of file you were trying to upload? How big was it?

I removed the polar stretch action for the start of the leader line and left that as your base point. Just set the base point (end of the leader) to where you need it, and move everything else relative to that. Let me know if this block works for you.

Thank you, that seems to do the trick, however the flip parameter is not horizontal anymore. Also there seems to be other issues disconnect issues everytime I move a point.

Can you post a sample, or images of the behavior?
