Default Long Radius Bends in Profile Veiw

Can anyone help me. I have a rising main that crosses beneath a motorway, where I need to show 180m vertical bends to indicate the line of the directional drill of the TBM. I can't seem to figure out how to show any type of vertial bends in C3D apart from creating a structure from block. Is there an easier way.?

Draw it as a profile object.
Draw it as a polyline based sub-ssembly and push it down an alignment and profile
create surfaces from that corridor created above
and include that in your profile view

Lost it as an autocad solid, and project it into your profile view (untested)
