Default My adaptive component won't attach to parallel surfaces

I've got this pipe that I'd like to connect between two floors. It'll attach just fine if the two surfaces aren't parallel. Any adaptive folks out there that can take a look at it for me? I've attached a 2012 Revit file with the family in it. Basically if you can get it to attach between the two floors in the rvt file that would be awesome. I'm assuming the family needs tweaked some how.

    Thanks in advanced.
