    Default U shaped Counter tops

I read a post from awhile back saying you can create U-Shsaped Countertops by using an L-Shape and a single countertop and then using the join geometry tool.
This isn't working for me as the tool won't let me select the countertops. Is there a better way or am I missing something?

Check to see what Family Category your counter tops are created as. Your family or families might also have model lines associated with the geometry, that do not disappear when those families are joined. Are these the Out Of The Box families for counter tops, downloaded from a website or created in-house?

P.S. A moderator might want to move this to the Families Forum.

    Cheers,

If you want it a casework family you have to make it. A GM will join.
