We need an escape key to cancel commands
Summary: I wish we could get an escape key.
Description: There are times when the software hangs up, it would be nice to be able to terminate the command without the software crashing or taking several minutes to give us an error message. Currently if the software hangs up the only option is the kill the software thus losing everything done since the last save.

I've always been able to cancel commands with the keyboards Esc key... it may take a few seconds, but it usually works fine.

This wish should be removed. The functionality was added in the 2016 release.
