    Default Tag Orientation

In the attached pdf file you will see where I have tagged the beam at Grid 1 (24x36) and Grid 2 (15x36) then at Grid 3 the Tag is vertical (not horizontal).
I selected the tag and see the Property option for horizontal or vertical, but the tag doesn't change orientation.
What could be causing this problem?

I see that so far there isn't any answer to the problem except the simple one.
I deleted the beams added new ones and the tags are horizontal.

OK I am slow. I didn't really solve the problem.
I discovered that the new beams I placed were not sloped.
When I sloped the Beams the tag rotated to vertical.
Is there some way around this problem?
