Mouse wheel zooming

Is there anybody out there that has a quick fix for reversing the direction of the zoom on the mouse wheel for AutoCad applications. I jump back and forth between Inventor and AutoCad and would like the zoom to be the same in both applications. I feel that the zoom in Inventor is correct. You scroll towards you and the software zooms in. You scroll away from you and the software zooms out. Makes sense to me. Autocad is opposite of this. Please help. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. This appears to allow me to adjust zoom percentage and scroll value for the mouse wheel. I can't see where it reverses the wheel direction. Am I missing something. It is early!

Hey! What do you know. I read right over the top of that. I don't see the "wheel direction" dialog in my mouse settings so maybe I need new drivers. I am using a Microsoft IntelliMouse 2 button mouse. I will check my drivers but i'm guessing that if I change the wheel direction here it will affect all applications and not AutoCad only. Thoughts?

I use the MS Trackball optical, so I'm not sure if the software is the same but I can set program specific functions to all 5 buttons. Unfortunately I didn't see one for the wheel that allows you to reverse it's direction.

Thanks Rebecca. I did download a new mouse driver but have been too busy to mess with it. This problem is on the back burner. Not enough hours in the day to accomplish all. Have a nice day! : )

There is also a Registry setting for Inventor that will switch the scroll / zoom direction to match AutoCAD. I know this is kind of opposite of what you were asking, but this is the way we have configureed our computers so that everything worked the same (A2005 & Inventor 9). I am not exactly sure where we downloaded it from, but I am almost certain that it is on the Autodesk web site.

In AutoCAD change the ZOOMWHEEL variable from 0 to 1.
