    Default Revit Reinforcement varying height

    Hey all,

I'm playing around with the reinforcement in Revit Structure. I come a cross a problem as illustrated in the attachment. I can sketch a rebar shape but when I want to adjust the layout, i.e. like enter a spacing value, I can't seem to be able to let the top of the rebar adjust to it's host's cover.

In this particular object when the rebar is located towards the middle we would want the vertical size of the rebar shape to become bigger. This way the top of the rebar would "follow/align" along the top face cover of it's host.

I thought path reinforcement could be of some help but I guess that's not the way to go either. What we would not want is to change the size of each rebar individually, obviously.

Is this possible? Or are we restricted to just do 2d rebar in section views. Hope my question is clear enough and someone can help us out. Thanks!

I have the same problem. This seems crazy, do Autodesk think all buildings are square?! Has anybody found a workaround for this?
