Default Multi riser Steps for entry

I have made seperate families for diff. risers for entry steps. I need a family which can be set for multy riser (Say 1 to 8 risers). Can it be done by array of ref planes or is there any other way to do this. Can any user help in this matter ?

...and why don't you make this object with the regular stair tool?

I'm not sure I understand what you want, either. Your stair looks like a 180 riser x 250 tread stair on a foundation. Why not model it that way? Create a foundation with walls or floors or whatever and create a monolithic stair on top of that. Then you can control the stair any way you want.
