Dimension - Change Witness line style

is it possible to change the witness line style?
Please see attached.
the Red Dashed line is simply a detail line laid over the witness line.
Can I change the actual witness lines to this line style?

You can specify a different line style is it's the centerline of an element by changing the "Centerline Pattern" in the Type properties of the dimension style. Otherwise no.
