Default Tell us why our systems are not well connected

Summary: The triangle warning symbols added to 2012 helped to identify problems with systems, but Revit can still complain that systems are not well connected but not tell us why, even though it knows.

Description: If Revit is able to determine that a system is not well connected, it must know why, so why can't it tell/show us?

If a vent system is not well connected I can't use the system inspector, and currently have no way of fixing problem systems.

If Revit is coming across an error or is taking issue with something in your design but refuses to tell you what it is, I have found journals to be very helpful. It records every action Revit takes and puts it into a text file. Here's an article on where to find it.

Can you provide examples on the current version (2015) of the software where you are getting this warning? In 2014, we modified the warning messages to make this more clear.

The two examples below show that the two systems are configured such that their elements (the air terminals) are not all physically connected to one another.

If you intend to keep the air terminals in separate networks (e.g., a large room was divided into smaller rooms), you can use the Divide Systems tool when the system is selected, this will split the system into however many systems are required to keep each system as a single connected network.
