Is it possiable to make a PDF from a .plt File.????
In AutoCAD in not possible, I don't think so,
But with a program like this for example, it's possible

Cheers,
Use any program that can view the plot file, then print to PDF.
For example, I can use Oce Publisher. I have some other plot file viewers listed here -> http://rkmcswain.blogspot.com/2006/0...e-viewers.html

That is good information. I have run into a few plt files and could not get them to open.Originally Posted by rkmcswain
I am receiving incompatibility issues, HPGL2 something or other.
We have a KIP 6000 and software to plot to it called "KIP PowerPrint Request".
With this, we can send a plot files, tiffs and even pdf's, whole jobs at a time as many sets as we need (but we send the really big jobs out for printing).
We can also create pdf's from the plot files with a click of a button.
Our office just tried out AcroPlot Pro. Highly recommend. We tried it out for the exact reason you asked - plt to pdf. Worked beautifully!
