Hope I can explain my quandary.
I've created several new structural framing families: some wall sections, pieces of wall connections and loaded them back into a modular house .rvt. I then created a new structural col. family call metal stud.rfa and loaded that family into the structural framing families and then all back into my .rvt.
All looks correct when I open my .rvt but having problems scheduling the metal studs. I can get a quanity for the structural framing pieces but not the metal studs.
If I load the metal studs directly from the structural column tab, I am able to get a type and count schedule for my metal studs.
I realize I am making some very basic errors and need some very basic help. I'm the guy with a little bit of knowledge who has dug himself a very deep hole.
