Has anyone found the list of tag families that allow you to use the "Rotate with Component" option? It seems like every time I want to use it, I can't.

I've never been able to get "rotate with component" to behave as I expect either. This parameter is glossed over in the new wiki-fied help system too. I'd like to be able to have the tag be at same angle of rotation as my placed component. Any one else out there feel this is how this is supposed to work?
Yes and no. The OP's noted that some tags allow this setting while others don't. I "think" the issue is that the tags which allow this, do not have an option to align them per model, and visa versa. Sorry, haven't tried ALL the 100's of different tag types. E.g.
A room tag does not have the "Rotate with Component" option in the Family Category and Parameters dialog. But it's got the capability to rotate it in the project by having its orientation set to Model (as opposed to Horizontal / Vertical).
But a Door Tag does have the option in its Family Category and Parameters - making it rotate in the same direction as the door. Though for these the orientation options is only Horizontal / Vertical if this property is not set, else these are also greyed out.
I personally like the way it's working now ... to an extent. I'd prefer to be able to do all of it to all tags, i.e. allow the parameter set to Rotate (as default) but be able to override it in the project on a per-reference basis - allowing Horizontal / Vertical / Model / Component orientation. But also have a Rotate with Component + 90 degrees option so you don't end up with tags placed nearly vertical and have to swing your neck off to read them.
This is another sample of Revit being over-programmed. Some features are purposefully disallowed for some object types. That took a lot of planning an programming from someone ... and actually makes the program less usable. If they were lazy and simply handled all tags the same way, then this would not be an issue - or at least less of an issue.
