2013: Autodesk 360 alternative for workspace sync.

I know there are issues with the TOS for the 360 service. Does anyone know what files would be necessary to create a manual sync? I'm thinking I can write a batch file that uses xcopy and some ftp protocol to sync my files to my ftp then back down between offices.
Perhaps this may not have been the best forum to put this message, but I figured it was worth a shot.

Great idea -- a usable sync tool would be helpful, especiallly if it could use a 'target of choice'. e.g FTP for one guy may be great, but somebody else dealing with higher confidentiality issuses (or company restrictions) may find a thumbdrive a preferred alternative.

I would suppose that some of the information is stored in the registry, any idea which keys?
