    Question Editing A Model

    Hi,
I am using ACAD 2012. I have created two cubes which interlock.
I have subtracted one from the other to leave a cube shape in the larger of the two cubes.
I now want to Delete where the cube which was subtracted from the larger cube, which I could do by pressing ctrl+selection of cube required.
This would highlight the cube and allow me to delete it, thus returning the original larger cube to its original state. It appears now that by pressing ctrl, I cannot select the smaller cube.
I therefore cannot obtain my original cube.

Any Ideas why this should happen?

I'm not certain and can't check at the moment but try checking the setting for SOLIDHISTORY.

Tried the SOLIDHISTORY - Had no bearing.
It would appear that ACAD 2012 is behaving differently. If you pick a face and delete it (Part of removed cube), the entity reforms to its original state. You can also move a face by selection.
This is quite difficult to describe

Basically, the funtions are still there, but Autocad methodology has changed.

It was indeed the SOLIDHISTORY, but the command has changed to SOLIDHIST.
Acad Default - New installation was set to have solids having no history. Now reset - All working as normal.
