    Default Escutcheon plate doesn't move

I'm new to families in revit and have done some reading. I am working of ADA hand bars for a bathroom. I have a problem with the pulls that when I load them and try to adjust the escutcheon plate doesn't move with the pipe when I go to adjust it. I have included the family. Also I'd like to be able to have the bar rotate on the wall so I don't have to load two seperate families for the bars. Any assistance on that would be helpful too!

    Thomas,

I have looked at the family you posted. I strongly suggest that you not build your family as wall based. I rebuilt my firms ADA bars from scratch because the wall based ones would always get deleted on accident. I prefer to use sweeps instead of revolves. They are very easy to control with reference planes and dimensions. You might want to have the grab bars as a faced based family nested into another face based family with a rotation parameter controlling whether or not it is horizontal or vertical.

    Best of luck,
    Jeff S.
