Default Revit export to ASD reinforcement drawings

    Hi,

Can I get some help with elements export to ASD reinforcement drawings. The question is... for example I'm trying to export column, but in ASD i'm getting column with small part of beam and footing it is connected to. How can i export JUST column?

    RS2012 and ASD2012

    Thanks

I believe if you created the column and reinforcing as an assembly, you can create assembly drawings for just the column. But I' don't know how well those play with ASD.

Please forgive me but do you have the extension tools installed?
Note: its a good idea to have open ASD
If so select just the column and go to the extensions Tab on the Ribbon > AutoCAD Structural Detailing > Reinforcement Drawing.
You should now have a Reinforcement drawing dialog box on screen, then just select the information you need i.e. Regional settings UK, USA etc...
Then when you have done all that click ok and switch to ASD. It should now be in ASD.

You could also export as a sat file.

    I found the solution

ASD Reinforcement ribbon> Settings > Styles > Construction drawings - settings

here you can edit view parameters.

After that just export your element by using extensions tool
