Plotting from AutoCAD 2000 running with XP

Hope someone out there can help me. I have just had my operating system upgraded to XP, since then I have not been able to plot or even preview a plot. I am getting the following error messages and then the program crashes.

FATAL ERROR: Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0x0000 Exception at 36016fa8h.

And then

The instruction at "0x73dd1351" referenced memory at "0x 00000004". The memory could not be "read". Click OK to terminate the program.

I seem to be able to print from every other program okay. Any ideas as IT are looking even more confused than I am.

Have you tried a repair install of AutoCAD 2000?

If that doesn't work, try a complete un-install, re-install of AutoCAD 2000.

A Search on Forums will return plenty of information on how to accomplish the above (if need be).

Is your AutoCAD 2000 fully updated and patched?

Autocad 2000 is not compatible with XP. Check out Autodesk website for compatiblity issues. Our you the administrator on your computer? It works best if you are.
