    Default Beginner Question...

When I hover over an object in C3d, it used to highlight that entire object (i.e. a line) without physically clicking it. Now it is not doing that. It was useful, and would like to get it back.

What setting did I mess up to turn off highlighting of an object?

Rollover tooltips still work, and those are not my issue.

    Thanks,

    Garrett

Looks like possibly AutoDesk 360 was messing with that setting. Signed out and used restore settings option, and now hovering is back. I have no idea why?

Well, it wasn't really 360 "messing with it". When you signed out and chose to restore settings, it did just that - restored your settings prior to 360 downloading whatever settings are saved in the cloud.

So the actual setting in question here is the system variable SELECTIONPREVIEW. It was probably set to 1 or 3.
You can also find this in OPTIONS, on the Selection tab, lower left corner.

That looks like the culprit. Thank you rkmcswain. I don't recall messing with that option though...dang newbies!
