    Default IFC EXPORT PROBLEMS - INDUSTRY FOUNDATION CLASS

    I am trying to export a Revit Model as an IFC, and I am finding a lot of errors after the conversion.
    The largest problem that i am experiencing, is that window and door families are not cutting openings in my walls. None of my structural columns export. None of my Conceptual Mass work is exporting either? Has anybody got experience exporting models to IFC? I am surprised that there are so many errors/discrepancies when using this format; SAT, FBX, DWG all work so well. I'd appreciate any advice, or an alternative workflow for exporting accurate IFC files. Thanks.
