    Default Bended Coil

I am trying to create a bended coil.
I use the bend mathod after creating a coil.
But it doesn't look good and the profile of the wire changed.
    Please see the attached file
What is the better way to do this?
    Thanks for your help.

An option to do this is to create multiple 180deg coils, attached to each other. So the end point of one coil is the begin of an other, with every next axis under an angle. I did a quick example of it, see coil_bend.

    I can't open the drawing as I have v2011.
Can you send me a v2011 format?
    Thanks for your help.

Sorry, I can't save the file to IV2011 but i did make a screenshot.
Here you can see that i made 4 coils from only 180degr. And the axis is rotated with every coil. The red points are the endpoint of one coil and the begining of an other.

A suggestion might be sending the file (Coil bend) as a .dwf, at least they could see the 3D file.

    Thanks Rob.
The screenshot is pretty good enough as I can see how you construct the bend.
You create the 10degree bend with 2 portions.
In this way if I need a 180degree bend I have to create 36 portions of 5degree bend part.
And by doing this an iam file would be a time-save solution.
But all these are not what I am after.
I think there should be a simpler way to create the such simple part in an ipt file.
May be there is a trick I have learned.
Again, thanks for your help, Rob. Any other thought?
