Default Sun angles in 3D shaded view within family browser for preview image

I am cleaning up the preview image in a library folder so that families display consistently from the windows explorer or within Revit's load family or open dialogues. Some of the families show the sun angle over the right shoulder, and others show it from over the left shoulder in the 3d shaded view. There are also differences in the light and dark in the shading, even though the same material definitions have been transferred across. Within a project, the view's Graphic Display Options can be used, along with view templates, to control these settings, but within the family editor, I don't find similar controls.

Edit 8/27/12: Actually, I can get to the Graphic Display Options in 2012 from the top of the Visual Style button in the 3d View, but there appears to be no way to change these values.

Does anyone have a solution to how I can match these settings within separate family files so i can update the preview to a consistent look?
