    Default Custom Hatch Patterns

Is there an easy way to create a hatch pattern to add to my .pat file?

Do you want to create one or just add an existing one?
There are a lot of free ones on the page below from which to choose, along with instructions.

Depends on what you regard as easy.

There's some free downloads that will do simpler jobs that can be specified within a square grid such as the Hatchmaker lisp

or try HatchKit where you can draw a template in AutoCAD, copy/paste to HatchKit, then scale and save into any .PAT file.
