2013: Saving as previous version incredibly slow

Any suggestions on the above.

Have sampled numberous drawings (5-15Mb) on 2 different machines, same issue.

Drawings save in a matter of seconds when saved as v2013, but take 5+ minutes when default is set to 2010 or lower. Have tried over network and on local HDD.
Have also tested with SAVEFIDELITY set to 0 & 1, which was a previous solution for a similar issue in v2012.

Try TrueView t0 convert the drawings. Generally that woks quite a bit faster here
