Web viewer for Autocad Map 3D Enterprise
We recently implemented our new MAP 3D enterprise GIS system and are going through the data checking process. We use a new server with Oracle standard edition installed. We have installed the web viewer (map guide) and having problems with slow access speed. The server CPU is a quad core with 16Gb of RAM. When we upgrade the RAM from previous 4Gb RAM it seems to improve quite a bit but it still takes at least 4 - 5 minutes for the map to pop up. We set up the system so that the devices are not selected at the start. Still it is slow and crash (time out) when desired features are selected. How can we improve the access speed. Your suggestions are greatly appreciated.
