Default Clarification on dyn blocks, scaling and annotative behavior

No matter what I read, it seems if I'm seeing conflicts of information. So I pose the following question:

I have blocks that have attdefs in them, along with other entities. I want these blocks to scale when placed in a dwg based on the scale of the titleblock (we use ONLY modelspace...not my choice...please don't kill the user) so our TB are scaled in MS.

I seem to be confused as to whether annotative text will scale or not scale when inserted into a drawing.

Any clarity would be greatly appreciated.

if you are working in modelspace only, then annotative is pointless. That feature is designed to let objects apear at different scales when viewed theough a viewport. In a modelspace only workflow, where plotting is done at 1=48 or somesuch instead of 1:1, you are stuck doing R9 style work, scaling the block in insertion to match dimscale or whatever scale the border is inserted at.

Ok- then to facilitate ease of insertion, I'd like to have a pop up appear that will allow users to choose from a dropdown with different scales. Would you happen to know how I would implement this?

    Thank you for you help!

Here again, as in the other message of yours I've responded to, you would have to build a set of Visibility states into your block with the text for each one sized appropriately.

Generally in Dynamic Blocks you only make the Block definition Annotative and the rest of the entities come along for the ride.
(To add to the confusion that is what I have read.)
