Column Alignment Problem

Hey people, I'm new to Revit. I have no idea what happened, but "some" of my columns in this project are aligned incorrectly. I don't know exactly what the name of this problem is, hence the vague title. I've searched for analytical/physical model problems, shape handle, etc. and have found nothing. Normally you'll see this nice blue line that denotes the center of a column, which you can snap your beams to quickly and easily in a framing plan view. A few of my columns have a slight offset, which I tried to drag in place manually but it doesn't snap!!! I've tried deleting the column and placing/copying new ones to replace it. No go...If I have to I can just eyeball it back in place, but that's inaccurate. This happened to like 15% or so of the columns in my project. Please help me!!! Jpeg attached.

Well, I've worked on several projects and never had this problem before. But I've discovered the culprit: Enable analytical model. This is the third project I've started from the ground up, and this hasn't happened before. I usually don't mess with the analytical because it's never caused problems for me. For some reason like a dozen columns decided to snap to the grade beams below. Everything was drawn by grids and levels...Well, happy modeling everyone!

Yep, that'll happen. And it sucks. I'm still hoping for the option to remove all analytical model components. They only cause problems and funky conditions with your model. So when you change something you get to fix it in both.
I guess it's great if you're using robot, but if the analysis program works as well as Revit, there's now way I'd ever risk it or even spend the time to try to validate it.

If you have a gridline intersection near column, then you should not have to drag the column. If you pick a column in plan, two temp. dimensions should appear from column to gridline in x and y direction. Pick one of the dimensions and change to zero.
Repeat with the other dimension if needed. This should move your column back to the gridline intersection.
I would also check to see if the column type is set to vertical, if it is set to sloping this could be a issue.

I believe the column is at the grid intersection. It's the analytical model that needs adjusting. You can adjust it by selecting the column and using the "adjust analytical model" tool. I think the issue is that the column thinks it's attached to the vertical corner of the wall and not the CL of column.
