Default Revit / Navisworks manage task id and sets problem

    Hi,

I have a problem with finding curtain walls with the find tool. i made in Revit a shared parameter named task id's. I named my curtain walls into 001 for V1 and 002 for V2. But i can't find 001 and 002 because they are curtain walls. i can't select the walls, only the panels and mullions. know someone how i find the walls on another way?

    Thanks

If you can post a copy of an .nwd file, we might be able to help you find what you're looking for. Personally, I would probably work with the selection sets and create a set for them. Then use that to find the walls.
Give a man AutoCad, and he'll draw you a floor plan.
Give a man Revit and he'll build you a house.
Give Cadmama a couple of drinks and she'll have everyone singing Rockytop!

As far as I know you can't view the curtain wall objects from Revit on their own - the geometry of the curtain wall is found in its mullions and panels. You may need to assign the shared parameter for task ids to the panels and mullions to make your workflow work.
