Default How to have effects in the 4D simulation???

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tQkDRXo7tLM

Kindly Watch this Video and my question is : Can anyone point to some reading source so that it would give some better understanding. I was able to make a 4D simulation, but i wasn't able to get the "cool" effect ,. that is getting the elements to fly around and descending from above. As far as i understand it is in Simulate tab where you get this done by assigning the different effect to the different elements? Am i guessing correctly ? and if i'm right how to do it?
    Thanks

Have you gotten an answer on this yet? I read this post last week, and was wondering the same thing.

You need to create the motion effect for each indiviual piece through animator and then link them to the activity in timeliner to start the motion.

Thanks, I did more research, and some messing around in Navisworks, and You don't actually have to link it to a talk in Timeliner. You can just create scenes in Animator and create the whole video in Animator. I suppose if you want to use it for scheduling, then you would have to link it in Timeliner, but I didn't need dates. Thanks!

Would love to shoot the folks that made this. I've learned the reason that this video is a static shot, it is because everythingh is hiding off screen. This video misrepresents the capabilities of Navisworks. Someone had a lot of time and money to create this. This video is unrealistic on many levels. It is not a timeliner and it is done on presenter. It would be nice to know the render time and the machine used for this puppy. Absolutely foolish.

Try this out for making Videos:
