    Default Non BIM Annotation

Summary: It's time to make Revit a first class program in construction documentation. Users have a need to include information that does not lend itself to automation and the use of Revit's schedules. This is information that needs to be added and edited efficiency on the fly.

Description: Improve the ability of Revit's text editor for customizing text notes by doing the following, incrementally if needed:

    1. Allow a column of text to break and yet flow the numbering to the next column much like a schedule table.

    2. Add multilevel numbering.

    3. Add table creation in Revit text where one can add a title row, a header row, and a matrix of columns and rows. This should have the ability to nest in a column of text.

    4. Be able to add images to text or tables.

The workarounds of inserting MS Word created images or DWG files for general notes and making note blocks out of Revit schedules are cumbersome. The lack of efficient text handling for non BIM data in Autodesk's flagship CAD program should embarrass Autodesk. Users have complained abut this for years.
