    Default de243

I don't know if anyone else has run into this in Revit 2013, but if you have, I'd love to know the solution.

I want to select a datum line, but when I try to pick the line it moves the entire datum 2.5' up.

    Thx for the help.

After selecting an object, the whole screen 'wigs out' as the Options Bar adds extra pieces and then goes back to normal, right? I don't remember exactly what causes this - I ended up getting a new computer and it resolved itself. In the meantime, docking the Options Bar at the bottom should fix it. The status of Press & Drag may have an effect as well.

I'm not having the wig out problem, thank goodness. I should also mention that the datum show as being locked. I'll check into the options bar, however these are datum that are already set. I was selecting them after they have been set and locked.

You mentioned that the displacement is 2.5 feet. Does that value change based on how closely you are zoomed in? Also, by 'locked' do you mean pinned?

After closer examination, the 2.5' dimension doesn't seem to be consistent. It does seem to make a difference depending on how far in/out the zoom is. By locked I mean it has the little padlock symbol that is closed not the thumb tack or whatever that type of pin is called.
