I'm thinking of recommending that the quantity surveyors in my company move to using Autodesk Design Review for their measurements, rather than using AutoCAD as some of them do at the moment. I think that the 'save markups summary' feature would be very useful to them to that end.

However, when I open up the CSV file generated by Design Review in Excel, I get the require data (length or area in mm and mm2 respectively) in two columns, namely columns titled 'markup label' and 'markup text'. The contents of these columns are by default 'Dimension:~ xxxxxxxxx mm2', e.g. 'Dimension:~ 1668120 mm2'.

My question is, how do i get rid of the prefix 'Dimension:~' and the suffix 'mm2' so i'm just left with the numbers in the columns? I know I can go into every single markup and remove these things but is there a faster way to do this? Is there a way to change the default markup label and markup text every time any markup is drawn?

Please advise me if there are indeed ways to go about these issues. Thanks.
