Default Visibility of TIF images in a family

We have TIF images of principle's signatures we used to turn on and off in cad. In setting up the title block families, I can create a parameter that allows me to turn on and off the line work for the stamp, but not the TIF image of the signature. Is there a better way?

Why you cannot turn TIF off? I've already tested using visibility states in dynamic blocks and it works.

You can put signatures on designated layer and turn on/off it instead of using parameters (even if the signature is in block).
    LT is still AutoCAD

You have to add the TIFF images to a Generic Annotation family, and then nest that family into your Ttileblock.
For some reason, you can add parameters to GA families, but not to images
Go back to AutoCAD? I'd rather lose my right arm!
