Make Pipe placeholders useful on plans - Make pipes more BIM like
Summary: Showing piping in plans is difficult, typically they are shown parallel but they are actually stacked. Allow the use of Piping Place Holders to be linked to the actual pipe in elevations.
Description: Piping Placeholders have a use but I think we should use them to show our path in plan versus as a place holder. Lets draw in true BIM with the pipes stacked in elevation but show a linked piping place holder in plan view.
Give me the ability to control how far apart the placeholder is from one another so my plans are done as an annotation view for to show the path. Then let me cut a section and show the true location or add the details of pipe hangers of these pipes. But in plan they are just showing path, because they are placeholders.
