When two circuit lines cross the wires automatically trim. However when a circuit line crosses a luminaire it does not trim. How do split, trim, or whatever a wire so it does not run through a fixture?

I think you have to draw two separate wire segments - wires only break for other wires. Best practice would be to not cross the light fixture, which I know is not always possible.
Yeah in most cases I do avoid this but in this case I cannot as I have a perimeter cove with pendants in the middle on two different control relay circuits. The pendants cross the cove. Well two wire segments it is.
