Counter top hob in plan view not showing??

Hi,

Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction with the problem as stated.

In the attached screengrabs, the Cooker top will only display in plan view when offset from the counter top by 100mm. Any ideas? What am I missing??

Try editing the family and adding a vertical invisible line that is much higher than the hob. That way there is something to cut in plan so Revit will know it is there.

The family has the 3d geometry turned off, either turn it back on, or make sure the symbol lines are set to a work plane that is as high as teh counter.
