Hello,
Just installed 2013, excited to use it, but leery of the bugs/issues lurking around the corner. We skipped 2012 upgrade and went straight from 2011 to 2013. The first couple bugs we found are these:
1. Linetype generation for the existing ground in a data shortcut'd profile view doesn't work right. Shows hidden line as a continuous, with a couple breaks in it, indicating it's a linetype generation issue. This was a drawing that was created and worked perfectly in 2011. When the drawing was saved up to 2013, that's when the generation didn't work anymore. I've scoured the forums, can't find a solution to it yet.
2. This morning, we printed a bunch of plan/profile sheets, and the FG line didn't print of half the sheets. When we opened those sheets, the FG line wasn't showing. We closed it and then it showed again. Strange, intermittent issue, but one that's alarming nonetheless.
We could always xref in the design file that has the actual profiles/surfaces in it or we could just data shortcut the surfaces in and create the profiles from those surfaces, but for obvious reasons, we'd like to continue using the data shortcuts for the profile views as Civil 3D intends. Has anyone encountered any of this yet? Any ideas what could be causing this?
