    Default Field Display

Is it possible to make a field display something other than #### when it is not being used by the sheet set manager? For instance in our border I have fields for the Issue Date, Owner Name, Project Number, and City. I would like the fields display what they are for rather than ###. This would make the borders easier to use when they are not being used as a part of the sheet set manager.

You can try using a non-breaking space (alt+0160) in the sheet set properties. This works with most fonts, but not all.

If you are not using the sheet in a sheet set you can replace the field with any value you desire by editing the attribute.

Yeah I understand that. The way our border is set up you can not tell the date field from the job number field. It is not a big deal. I thought it might be nice to make the field display something like date instead of ####. It is not a big deal, but you never know without asking. Thanks for the help

So long as the field is placed within an attribute (within a block), you can simply enter "%%" (without quotes).

This will not work if your field resides within MTEXT, for example... The "%%" will plot. You will need to place these items on a non-plot table layer instead.

This is the reason our title blocks are attributed. Lemon squeezy.
