Default Linked Revit project and Phases

When working on a project with several large buildings, it is logical to separate each building into a its own projet file, and link them into a common Site file. Is there a way to Phase the buildings, separate each building into a Project Phase, that way the phase filters can be used in the site file?

Default Re: Linked Revit project and Phases

I think I've found the answer myself; By using the Visibility/Graphic overrides for each view, under the tab "Revit Links", I can set the phase for each linked file. This can also be managed in the View Templates.
To me though, it doesn't seem logical that the default phase in the linked files is always that last phase... I was hoping that the phase filter would also control the same phase in the linked file (EX. if phase filter in a view is set to phase #1, then linked file would also show #1 in that view, not the last phase #4)
Does anyone know of a setting to fix that? making custom overrides for each linked file in each view is not very efficient.
