Default Reset appearance and certain items still remain hidden

I hide some structural slabs during the walkthrough. When I'm done with the walkthrough, I right click the structural file in the selection tree and reset item > reset appearance, the structural slabs still remain hidden. I have to manually go to the selection tree to look for the hidden slabs to unhide them.

Why the reset appearance doesn't apply to everything inside the file?

You can make viewpoints with your structural slabs hidden the way you want along with your colors and transparencies set up for your particular situation.

I currently use them for a project I'm on where there's a LOT of existing content that I want to show in gray and a few scanning zones I don't want to show at all. I saved a viewpoint with these settings. Then I have another viewpoint for full color that sets it all back the way it's originally intended to be.
