Automated beam, and column connections with checkbox options.
Summary: I would like to pick from a list of family connections to be added to the ends of beams & top and bottom of columns.
Description: Have the ability to select a column or beam and add a base plate, or beam connection by selecting from a list of predetermined families. Would be nice to have simple default connections aready added for clash detection.

I agree; simplified representations would suffice. Perhaps a method for synchronizing simplified connections from Advance Steel would be valuable from a design-to-fabrication perspective, but a basic library included with Revit would be handy.
