    Default Custom Labels in Revit

Hi hope someone can help am sure there is a simple answer but am having mental block,

I am having trouble with some custom labels I have created.
I have set all the parameters I needed and placed them within my sheet family and loaded into project and updated the shared parameters in the project, so the text is editing fine, but I want the text to be different on every sheet and it seems to update gloabally.
how do I create a custom text parameter simmilar to the drawing number text, so I can manually update on the sheet.

The only thought I have to make sure that the custom parameters are set to instant instead of type.

I might be wrong, but I think it is because you are using Labels. In Revit if you create custom text as a label, that label will be the same on each sheet. I messed around with this a while ago, so I'm not sure if I'm remembering correctly or not.
