Has there been any updates to AutoCAD regarding sharing of custom palettes on a server? From what I have read, it all sounds very complicated in past versions of the software. Any input would be helpful. Thanks.

Nothing has changed: it still requires planning and attention to the small details to get it to work, but it's not rocket-science.
Where are you getting stuck?
It is just hard to fathom that the process isnt more streamlined by now. Saving each Palette as an .XTP and each Group as an .XPG on a server, then going around to each machine and importing each .XTP and .XPG. I would have thought by now the act of sharing would be a couple of clicks, that's all.
Palette Groups are broken, and that's what creates the problem: they really are not transferable.
