Default Flexible Duct Connection to Ductwork

Not sure if anyone else has experienced the same problem, but in some instances when I try to connect the flex to solid duct and it is close to the end of the duct, it will connect to the end with a transition, rather than the side. It's starting to pi$$ me off big time by having to increase the duct length, then decrease it, or if it is close to a transition, delete the transition etc etc....

    Any suggestions???

Yes, I've noticed this too. I just start further upstream in the duct, and then "bump" it down as far as you like.
I was always taught that it was advisable not to have the spigot right at the very end of the run anyway....helps with air balancing to leave a "pressure boot" at the end, apparently. Maybe 200mm - 300mm?
I'm not young enough to know everything.

Yes we leave an air cushion as well at the end of runs 200-300mm. SO I exaggerate my duct length add the end cap and move it closer once done

A Typical Revit Pain this one this!!

I Normally Leave one Flex Gap and it will work OK, if the first Click when drawing Flex is close as possible to to the duct it will also help heaps I find!!
