Default Issue with txt2mtxt express tools command

Hi all! I'm having a bit of an issue with the 'txt2mtxt' express tools command. I'm now getting a Dialog box when I use txt2mtxt. The dialog box's heading is 'frmTexts'. Has anyone ever experienced anything like this? I've searched these forums as well Google, and nothing comes up for 'AutoCAD frmTexts'. Using Google, I threw in 'frmTexts' and it seems to be a VB command of sorts. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Sandy

Has nothing to do with the Express Tool. Try appload and see if you have anything simular to frmTexts in Loaded Applications. Someone must have put it on your machine, have you checked to see if the command works on a coworkers machine?

Gave it a try, but nothing seems to be remotely label 'frmTexts' and everything seems to be normal. It had begun to affect another co-workers computer shortly after it had begun to affect mine. Everyone else's still seem fine.

Enter VBAIDE, Look in the project explorer (usually docked on the left) for 'frmTexts' form under "Forms" folder. Right-click and Remove. Then, double-click "ThisDrawing" and erase everything in the codes pane. Just make sure you don't need them. My guess is someone is trying to make a VBA project and unintentionally embedded it to the drawing making all drawings saved from this drawing having codes embedded. Although, why he would map the "txt2mtxt" command to a VBA macro and not use another command is another puzzle. What happens if you enter .TXT2MTXT (with a period at the beginning)?

We gave that a try arshiel88, but to no avail. There isn't anything in either the forms folder and there's no code in "ThisDrawing". It's just a blank screen. The exact same thing happens when when you use .txt2mtxt. It's a very strange problem that came out of the blue. Again, it's just me and one other co-worker affected. Thanks for the help though! If anything changes or progresses, I will let you know.

Since it doesn't seem drawing specific and it's just you and one co-worker I'd try switching Profiles in Options. Your current one may have a custom CUIX with an added MNL file or have a support directory with a different acaddoc.lsp file
