2013 Cursor does not appear

We just Switched to 2013. I will have 2 files open, Elevation and the Plan. When I switch to the plan file the cursor will not appear, but if i pick a random point in the file it acknowleges it. Just can't see it prior to picking. Any ideas?

Options command, check display colors - make sure the crosshairs are not the same color as the background. then check SNAP command, and verify that the size is not larger than the drawing area. Then, possibly display adaptor/driver may need updating.
