Angry 2013: Mouse wheel is wonky...

Working for the first time in Acad2013, and am having difficulty with realtime panning with the mouse wheel (Logitech M705) pushed in. If I hold the wheel perfectly still, it works as I am used to on other versions, but this mouse has a "wobble" built into the wheel which clicks as the wheel is tilted left or right. A click either way seems to turn the mouse into what I would call "joystick mode", and I'm suddenly miles away from my previous location, and looking at a black screen. I have to zoom extents and find myself again, and it's driving me nuts. I looked at the mouse button definitions in the CUI, and there are buttons defined up to #10, but a) I don't know what button numbers conform to this wobble switch on the wheel, and b) none of the indicated definitions sounds like this function I am seeing, anyway. Can anybody help me before I go postal?

You'll either have to turn off the side to side motion in the mouse driver settings, or get a different mouse that doesn't have to middle mouse lissting action.

Right you are! Found some Logitech software and shut 'em down. Odd that it can't be done with the CUI, but c'est la vie! Thanks for the suggestion.
