We are using Revit MEP 2012 on Quad core Windows 7 x64bit PCs with 12GBs of RAM, and are having an issue printing sheets to Adobe PDF (Adobe Acrobat X Standard) for one particular Revit project. We are able to select multiple sheets, and select the option to "combine multiple selected views/sheets into a single file". This works as expected. What doesn't work, is if we select multiple sheets, and then select the option to "create separate files. View/sheet names will be appended to the specified name." Originally we would then get an error message of:

"A fatal error has occurred. The application will be terminated. You have the opportunity to save recovery files for all of your changed projects. Would you like to save a recovery file?”

We were prompted to submit an Autodesk error report, which we did, and were advised from Autodesk to install "Revit MEP 2012 64bit Update 2 (rme2012ur2.exe), which we did.

We now still get an error message when we try to print to separate files, but the error message has changed to:

“An unrecoverable error has occurred. The program will now be terminated. All of your data has been recently saved, so there is no need to create recovery files. OK”

Does anyone have some suggestions as to what is causing this type of error?
