    Default RFI Note Symbol

Does any one have a preferred symbol to use to indicate an item or area of a drawing has an RFI (Request For Information)?

Currently I use a Rev Cloud with a Delta Symbol but others have suggested a Hex Symbol or something completely different.

    Any suggestions?

I would avoid the triangle -- traditionally that would indicate a Revision to the contract documents, rather than a Request for Information (Although it's quite possible the RFI could end up causing a revision, I would avoid confusing them)

Personally, I'd go for an Octagon rather than a hexagon. The "Stop Sign" symbology seems appropos in this case. Or an upside down triangle with rounded tips...

Neither woukld be confused with typical Keynote IDs or Revs, so would help communicate without obfuscating the issue(s) being questioned.
